Thank you to everyone who has submitted an application for the Executive Director position.  We have received an overwhelming response from over 70 well qualified applicants.  We are currently in the interview process with a select few and hope to make a decision within the next week.

Our Vision

Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties is a nonprofit housing organization. We welcome the community's help as we build simple, affordable houses in partnership with those who would most benefit from more adequate shelter.

Plans are in place to build 4 homes for deserving families over the next year -- 2 in Park City and 2 in Heber City. This means that we will help 4 more families improve their standard of living and become safely housed in our communities.

We build and sell modest homes to low-income families at no interest. In order to make the homes affordable, we arrange for donated labor and materials and vary the term of the mortgage. Habitat, Summit & Wasatch is supported by tax-deductible donations of money and materials and is staffed primarily by volunteers. The volunteers work side-by-side with recipient families, whoinvest hundreds of hours of "sweat equity" intotheir homes and the homes of others. Our recipient families' mortgage payments go into a revolving "Fund For Humanity" that is used to build more homes for families in need.

Habitat for Humanity builds more than houses -- it builds homes, enriches lives, and strengthens communities.
